Our Inspiration

S. Atma Singh Ji was an Eminent Akali Leader, Ex. Development Minister Punjab and Patron Shiromani Akali Dal. He served for about 50 years for the cause of Punjab. His untiring efforts and selfless service for the cause of education resulted in the establishment of Nankana Sahib Khalsa Sen. Sec. School, Guru Nanak Khalsa College and Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Sen. Sec. School at Sultanpur Lodhi.

S. Gurdeep Singh Ji was the founder Principal of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Sultanpur Lodhi and the former President of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Sen. Sec. School, Sultanpur Lodhi. He was a renowned personality and a man of principles. He believed that true values should be inculcated in every child. He firmly believed that no society could progress without education. Schools and parents together should join hands in imparting good “Sanskar” to the children. In this lies the strength of “Quality Education” and the true spirit of a “Quality Institution”. He was far sighted and made untiring efforts to make these institutions financially self-reliant.

Being extensively involved with this institution for the past so many years, I have perceived that there is an all-inclusive steady growth in all the genres whether it’s academic, co-curricular or sports. It is hearting to know that with each passing year the students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Sen. Sec. School are showing exemplary performance, making us all feel proud. This is what was envisioned by our founder, Late S. Atma Singh Ji, I wish to add that this is not the ultimate, because learning is a bottomless sea, the deeper you delve the more you find there to explore and perceive. I extend my best wishes to the Harskrishan Family for their dauntless dedication and tireless efforts and pray to the Almighty to bless them with their perseverance to reach greater glories.

Established in 1981, our school continues to impart value-based education and all round formation of the students, which help them not only to acquire knowledge but also to be honest citizens of the country. Adhering to the example of Late S. Atma Singh Ji, an eminent Akali Dal Leader, Ex Development minister, Punjab and Patron Shiromani Akali Dal, we earnestly strive towards the empowerment of truth, wisdom and virtue among our young learners for their bright future. Since 1981, Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Sen. Sec. School has always been a pioneer institution in adapting to the needs of the changing world. This is highlighted by the fact that several former students are holding responsible positions in government and private sectors across the country and abroad, making their valuable contribution towards creating a humane society. Under the dynamic leadership of the President, I find that the whole school is charged with a buoyant spirit to scale greater heights and is energized to take a big leap forward and claim its rightful position as one of the best schools in Sultanpur Lodhi. I am sure that the school will forge ahead with the earnest efforts of the Principal, staff and students on the path of progress. May God bless the institute to escalate higher and higher
